SplytUp works best when you and your spouse agree on the main issues and want to avoid court. Our qualification assessment takes about three minutes and gives you a clear answer. If you're unsure, we can discuss your situation in a free consultation.

Will I speak to a lawyer?

Yes. Your case receives attorney guidance and legal review throughout the process. You'll have access to consultations and support from our legal team to help you understand each step and make sure your documents are legally sound.

How long does a SplytUp divorce take?

Most SplytUp cases are completed in 4-8 weeks. Florida law requires at least 20 days between filing the petition and the final judgment, and the rest of the timeline depends on how quickly you and your spouse provide information and sign documents. This is significantly faster than traditional litigation, which can take months or years.

Is everything done online?

Almost all of it. Consultations happen over Zoom, documents are exchanged and signed electronically, and we file with the court on your behalf. Depending on your county and the type of dissolution, a brief final hearing may be required, which is often held by video.

Pricing starts at $1,750 for Simple Split, $2,750 for Fair Share, and $4,000 for Balanced Bridge. Court filing fees are included. Payment plans are considered on a case-by-case basis.

Are court filing fees really included?

Yes. Every SplytUp package includes the Florida court filing fee for your dissolution, so the price you see is the price you pay. There are no hourly bills and no surprise invoices.

Do you handle child custody and support?

Yes. Our Balanced Bridge package is designed for cases involving minor children. We prepare the parenting plan, calculate child support under Florida's guidelines, and make sure both parents complete the required parenting course.

Do we have to take a parenting class?

In Florida, parents of minor children must complete a court-approved Parent Education and Family Stabilization Course before a final judgment of dissolution is entered. It's a short course that can be completed online, and we'll point you to an approved provider.

Is SplytUp available outside of Florida?

No. SplytUp is available only for divorces filed in Florida. To file here, at least one spouse must have lived in Florida for the six months before the petition is filed. If you live elsewhere, we're not able to help with your case.

Yes, when both parents agree. SplytUp can prepare an agreed Florida paternity case for unmarried parents who have already worked out a parenting plan and child support, using the same flat-fee approach as our divorce packages. Contested paternity matters are handled by Yaffa Family Law Group.
