Florida keeps uncontested divorce simple, but a few rules apply to everyone.
Florida residency
At least one spouse must have lived in Florida for the six months before the petition is filed. SplytUp is available only for Florida filings.
Agreement on the terms
Property, debts, alimony, and, if you have children, a parenting plan and child support. If you're close but not quite there, our team can help you close the gap.
The 20-day waiting period
Florida requires at least 20 days between filing and final judgment. It runs while we prepare for your final hearing.
